The Michigan Watercolor Society has accepted Mary’s paintings three times. Her First Poppies hung at the Detroit Institute of Arts for its prestigious society 50th anniversary traveling show.

The children’s book Guntzviller illustrated, McGillicutty, A Very Special Bear, is available at local book stores, Amazon.com and on www.guntzviller.com.

Periodically returning to fabric, Mary received an award for her self-portrait, Self-Fabricated, August 2015, at the Crooked Tree Art Center in Traverse City.

Through both teaching and demonstrations, Guntzviller enthusiastically shares her work first-hand with others. Since 1993, she has taught in several mediums; watercolor, acrylics, and life drawing. A few of her workshop locations have been at St. John, Virgin Islands; Cincinnati, Ohio; Mackinac Island, Glen Arbor, Tustin, Battle Creek and Traverse City, MI. She also critiques paintings by appointment at her Studio.
